What can I expect on the Wolfhuiskraal Experience?

We meet at Dual Sport Adventure in Rustenburg, then ride dirt and tar(Pillion friendly) direction north then turn east. Borakalalo dam, Dinokeng, onwards to Rust de Winter and Pienaars rivier. Our overnight destination with its bushveld setting. At our overnight spot we light a fire, we braai and become nostalgic about past trips, and chat about our Experience. Day 2 we visit a Crater and a Big Rock ride more dirt roads and end our trip at a station.

What roads and conditions can I expect on the Wolfhuiskraal Experience?

Roads vary from Tared to Dirt roads
Ratings: Green to Orange with sandy patches.

Day 1

We meet early at Dual Sport Adventure, Rustenburg, depart at 08:00 and head for the gravel roads heading north then east.

We proceed on our Adventure to Borakolalo Nature Reserve, We experience the Dinokeng area, and perhaps have lunch there. We pass Rust de Winter dam and head to Pienaars river stores, we obtain supplies for the evening braai ( bring your meat ). We take the Kgomo Kgomo road following the Pienaar’s river with its flood plains. We book in at our overnight spot for the night.

Tonight we braai ! Sitting around a bushveld fire. The allure of the flickering flames and night life around us. This is Adventure riding at its best !

Day 2

Next Adventure day awaits. We get up stoke the fire and have our coffee. We keep following the river to Kgomogomo where we take in the floodplains. Next Adventure, we visit the Tswaing Crater(fee payable). Onwards on Adventurous roads to Jerico Rock, The Massive Granite boulder is a challenge for those wanting to(fee payable) .

The well-known Beestekraal stasie is our last stop for a possible brunch, where after we head home.
