We meet at Dual Sport Adventure (DSA) in Rustenburg. Then we hit the roads to ride tar and dirt direction north, eventually turning eastward. Be ready to experience Borakalalo National Park, Dinokeng, Rust de Winter Dam Nature Reserve, and the town of Pienaarsrivier.
Our overnight accommodation is in a bushveld setting. Once we are checked in, we light a fire, braai, and become nostalgic about past trips. We also chat about the day’s Experience. On Day 2, we experience the breathtaking Kgomo-Kgomo floodplains, ride more dirt roads, and end our trip at Beestekraal Station restaurant. No Backup vehicle included.
The DSA Wolfhuiskraal Adventure Motorcycle Experience is Pillion-friendly.
Roads vary from Tar (45%) to Dirt (55%).
Gravel Road Grading: Green to Orange with sandy patches.
Day 1
We meet early at Dual Sport Adventure (DSA) in Rustenburg for the Wolfhuiskraal 1-Night Adventure Riding Experience and depart at 08:00. Then we head for the gravel roads direction north, then east.
We ride towards the Borakalalo National Park, experience the Dinokeng area, and perhaps have lunch there. We pass Rust de Winter Dam and head to stores in the town of Pienaarsrivier. Tonight we braai, and everyone gets the supplies they need. Don’t forget the meat!
We take the Kgomo-Kgomo dirt road, commonly known as the Zaagkuilsdrift Road, and follow the Pienaar’s River. We check in at our overnight spot. Sitting around a bushveld fire, we experience the allure of flickering flames and the nightlife all around us. This is adventure motorbike riding at its best!
Day 2
The day’s adventures are waiting for us, and we get up to stoke the fire for coffee. We keep following the Pienaar’s River to Kgomo-Kgomo, where we take in the breathtaking floodplains.
Onwards on adventurous roads to the famous Jericho Rock, a massive granite boulder that visitors can experience for a fee.
The well-known Beestekraal Stasie Restaurant is our last stop for a possible brunch. Then we head home. See you at the next Experience!
